Experience & recognition
My experience and education allow me to deliver superior results.
I received my Medical Doctorate from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2005, and I completed a 6-year plastic surgery residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital followed by a fellowship in aesthetic breast surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, where my work focused on cutting-edge implant and microsurgical flap techniques.
I am also proud to have been named to the New York Times’ Top Doctors and Super Doctors in Plastic Surgery lists as well as the Castle Connelly lists of Top NYC/Metro Plastic Surgeons and America’s Top Doctors.
My work has appeared in journals including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Annals of Plastic Surgery and in the medical texts Breast Reconstruction: Art, Science, and New Techniques and Current Reconstructive Surgery.
I hold an academic teaching appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine/Mount Sinai Hospital and am an attending surgeon at the Lenox Hill Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital, Englewood Hospital, and New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

Our process
We make sure you have the information you need to feel informed about your decision, from your inquiry about our practice through the consultation and recovery.
Consultation
The first step is a thorough, collaborative consultation. Before surgery, we provide:
- 60- to 90-minute in-depth initial consultations including a complete medical history review and physical assessment with me
- Multiple pre-op visits to answer all your questions
- Specialized surgery coordinators to help you navigate scheduling, financial, and insurance processes
Surgery
Once you have decided to move forward with surgery, we emphasize convenience, comfort, and a smooth recovery. This includes:
- Convenient NYC operating facilities
- Luxury recovery room options at NYC hotels
- Complimentary, custom post-operative support garments and scar-treatment regimens
- Attentive and routine aftercare visits
Results & recovery
Our priority is to provide the highest degree of comfort for our patients throughout their procedure and recovery.
We schedule multiple pre-op appointments to make sure that our patients are fully informed and know exactly what to expect from the procedure. We also stay in close contact during the pre-op period in order to ensure that each patient receives prompt and personalized care.
Once surgery is complete, local patients have the option to recover at home in NYC or in one of our luxury recovery rooms located in select hotels in the city. Recovery timelines vary depending on procedure, and our thorough aftercare options ensure optimized recovery and results.
Concierge care
At Maman Plastic Surgery, we pride ourselves on our commitment to patient care, both as healthcare professionals and as people. This means that understanding each patient’s personal and clinical needs is central to our practice.
We customize treatment plans for each patient, and each patient receives my personal contact information along with direct round-the-clock access to our nurse and surgical coordinator.

Dr. Maman is extremely professional and soft-spoken, which eases my anxiety with needles. I was referred by a friend that looks fabulous for 40ish and I couldn’t be happier with my results. Mommy Makeover
I don’t often write reviews but every once in awhile there’s a service provider that is either terrible or fantastic and it warrants letting others know. I feel it’s important to let others know about my wonderful experience with Dr. Maman. I went to Dr. Maman two years ago for a “mommy makeover”. He did a breast lift and tummy tuck and I couldn’t be happier. I found Dr. Maman to be thoughtful, thorough, skilled and professional. He was always available, even giving me his cell phone to call at any time if needed. But aside from his bedside manner, I think what we all really want from a plastic surgeon is an impeccable skill. Dr. Maman is an artist, not just a surgeon. He aims to make you look your best. I am very happy with the work he did and I would highly recommend you consider him.

Breast Augmentation
Dr. Maman is great! He is very thorough during the consultation and I felt very comfortable and confident that he would go an excellent job with my breast augmentation. The 3D images are very accurate so you know exactly what to expect before you go into surgery. He will try a variety of sizes during the surgery to make sure the implants look natural while also achieving your goals aesthetically. The office and surgical staff are amazing and took excellent care of me on the day of my surgery.
It’s been a couple of weeks now and I am loving my result! I definitely recommend Dr. Maman if you’re looking into getting a breast augmentation.
